Question 29
Read Double Input
Read Double Input
Write a program that reads a double value from the user and prints it with 2 decimal places: You entered: [number] Usescanner.nextDouble()to read the double, andSystem.out.printf("%.2f", value)to display it with 2 decimal places. ⚠️ IMPORTANT - AUTO-INPUT MODE: This question uses automated input testing. When you run your code, the input stream will AUTOMATICALLY contain: '3.14\n' DO NOT wait for manual keyboard input - Scanner will read from the pre-filled buffer stream immediately. Your program should use Scanner methods likenextInt(),nextDouble(), ornextLine()to read these values directly. Think of it like Eclipse/VS Code but with the input already typed in and waiting for your Scanner to read it.
Expected Output:
You entered: 3.14= newline. The output ends with a newline — print one after the last line.
