Lab 3 Exceptions - SM 2025

Many systems enforce business rules through exceptions. A banking system may throw an InsufficientFundsException when a withdrawal is too large. Code this exception using OutOfRangeException.java as a guide. Can you think of other exceptions that make sense for a banking system?

Short Answer

To create an InsufficientFundsException, you define a new class that extends Java’s Exception class. This lets you throw it when someone tries to withdraw more money than they have. Other useful exceptions in a banking system might include InvalidAccountException or DailyLimitExceededException.
