Links and Anchor Tags
Anchor TagsLinks are one of the most important parts of the web. They allow you to connect one page to another or send the user to a completely different website.
The tag we use for links is <a>. The “a” stands for anchor.
Step 1. Write your first link
First, write a simple <a> tag with some text inside it:
<a>This is a link</a>Right now this does nothing. It just shows plain text, because the browser doesn’t know where the link should go.
