Image Tags

Now it’s time to learn how to add images to your webpage. We use the <img> tag to add an image in HTML.

Unlike most tags you’ve seen, <img> does not need a closing tag because its a stand alone tag.

Step 1. Download the image

Scroll to the bottom of the page and download the file called dog.jpg and save it inside your html-classroom folder. This is the same folder where your HTML files live.
